Sophie Shaw is a collaborative, multifaceted artist who has had a love for performing since age two. Starting out in dance class, she trained in numerous styles from ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, modern, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. Sophie has had experience in youth, educational, and professional musical theater performance settings. Currently training at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, she strives to be involved in as many creative fields as possible. She has had training in theater tech including lighting design, experience choreographing and assistant directing. Sophie has also had many years of personal vocal training at the Concord Community Music School. She currently trains vocally with Dan Callaway at The Boston Conservatory. Outside of theater, Sophie loves spending time with family and friends. Sophie is a big animal person, in fact she actually has a pet pig. She also knows a lot about backyard birds and how to identify them.
